Seriously, they need to stop focus on little boys and to more research on all fronts. Like now… 😑 I’m learning something new about my ADHD every single day. Something doctors here in Sweden never say.

Yep me too! The research is lacking so much and I guess studies depend on funding

I'm pretty sure my ADHD has got worse with age (perimenopause), and I used to have horrible PMT as well when I was younger and I wonder whether that was also impacted by ADHD (I was not diagnosed until age 45).

Thank you for all you do. Im hoping its ok to ask, you say during your period your meds don’t work.

I can barely do anything. Not even replace a light bulb so my kitchen is dark . Is that what happens to you? To anyone else?

Thank you! And yes I’m so sluggish even when I’ve taken my meds. Someone on Twitter told me their Dr prescribed them an extra smaller dosage of their meds. Idk if my GP would do the same for me though

Yes I have tried and my health care provider said I have outgrown it and the ADHD is now manifesting as Bipolar. It is so ridiculous isn't it? . I have had only one hypomania episode in 8 years of diagnosis and that was actually caused by a side effect of Amytriptiline, an antidepressant.

I wonder about ADHD in transgender women. Especially when both are uncovered later in life. (Yes, I'm both.)

I have not been officially diagnosed. I have been trying to let my health care provider review my present diagnosis (Bipolar) but it has been dismissed. The Bipolar drugs are not working. They make me zombielike.

Wow did you try to get a separate assessment for ADHD? I’m not sure how Bipolar meds work but with ADHD meds some meds won’t work or be as effective for people so you go through a titration period where you try out different ones and dosages , monitored with your Dr
