We listen and we don’t judge!
Anyone else with ADHD feel guilty for not catching up with certain people that actually mean a lot to you? Even though they probably understand, it still makes me feel so unsettled on the inside. There’s always a lot going on and I’m so easily overwhelmed

We listen and we don’t judge!
One thing I will say is that I’ve gotten better at all of this. Thanks to ADHD Medication, coping strategies and being intentional on how I can be a better friend.
Look none of us are perfect and I’m thankful that I have friends who are able to give me grace.
To my fellow ADHDers, don’t beat yourself up about this. We’re a work in progress and we all deserve gracious friends

My kids’ therapist suggested making tiny jars on your desk and, each time you catch up with a friend, adding a bead to the jar. It’s a good reminder. For me it really helps with urgency hyperfixation in which I spend a lot of time with ONE friend for weeks and weeks and basically forget about the others.
