How is everyone doing?
I can’t believe we’re halfway through 2024!
I have been taking improv classes alongside my full-time job and it’s been so freeeeeing!
Whilst we’re on the topic of work, it saddens me whenever someone tells me that after disclosing that they’re Neurodivergent to their employer, they’re either treated differently or mysteriously let go.
Some people also mentioned that their employers know nothing about Neurodiversity/Neurodivergence and they’re accused of ‘being lazy’ or ‘making excuses’.

Are Neurodiversity in the Workplace initiatives becoming a tick-boxing exercise?
Now I’m not usually one to rock the boat but it seems like companies are really missing the mark when it comes to embracing Neurodivergence in the workplace.
We shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to be heard or write essays on why we need specific disability accommodations.
