Love this strategy! As a neurodivergent pharmacist, I always remind people that for ADHD brains, dopamine is the currency of focus. The 'Eat the Frog' advice often backfires because it creates an immediate dopamine deficit. Starting with an 'easy win' creates a positive chemical loop that builds the motivation required to tackle the bigger tasks. It’s about working with your brain chemistry, not against it! :) Glad to help! It was popularized by Brian Tracy in his book Eat That Frog!.

The core idea is based on a classic Mark Twain quote: if you eat a live frog first thing in the morning, you can go through the rest of your day knowing the hardest part is already behind you. In productivity terms, the "frog" is that one big, daunting task you’re most likely to procrastinate on. Doing it first helps bypass the executive dysfunction of overthinking!
